Revelation

I was definitely blind

And believe you me

Never for a moment I did mind

But one day

I do not know why

I longed for a little sight

In these blind eyes of mine.

Then I thought

At this stage of my life

Would it be wise

To long for a little sight

I do not know how

A sudden rush of light

Flooded my path

And infused in me

An urge to walk

But instead I ran ran and ran

Like a rolling stone that moves

Not knowing its destination.

But one thing I could feel

That I had neither patience

Nor the time

To stand and stare

Even for a while.
