Oh! Dear

Perhaps you thought

I am in great despair

I should say

Loud and clear

You are taking advantage

As you wrongly have taken me

To be a fool of the first order.

If you failed to reciprocate

You should not have disgraced

That innocent love and respect

That oozed out of my heart

And I am sure even God

Would not have refused that.

My wayward friend

You are sadly mistaken

Please play no more

That hide and seek game.

So do not take me for a ride

As I am not a sacrificial bride

Stop acting like a falling star

Which pretends to fly forever

But burns itself

In midair.
